PatHERways

Our Aim

PatHERways is an international cooperation project aiming to support new approaches on the promotion of the political participation of young women around the world

The project aims to develop the competences of youth workers, youth trainers and educators to efficiently engage young women in the political life within their organizations, networks and communities, contributing to improve the representation of young women in the decision making bodies and structures within participatory and representative democracy, thus guaranteeing the defence of the particular issues and challenges they face and contributing to a more democratic, sustainable, representative and equalitarian society and to social and civil development.

INTERNATIONAL MOBILITIES

During the project we had 2 International Seminars in Portugal, 1 Training of Trainers in Cape Verde and several Job Shadowing mobilities around different continents.

HANDBOOK & RECOMMENDATIONS

The main tangible results of the project were the Handbook for educators and the Transnational Recommendations for the Political Participation
of Young Women.

PROJECT PARTNERSHIP

PatHERways consortium of partners joined 7 organisations, coming from 4 different continents, working in diverse topics from gender and youth participation around a common aim.
